Ireland is famous for (amongst other things) its wonderful golf courses, breathtaking scenery and its legendary hospitality...

At the ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club you have all three of the above in abundance!

Ring of Kerry Golf

As the name suggests the Ring of Kerry is set in Ireland famous tourist route and offers delightful views over the Beara Peninsula, the southernmost of the main peninsulas on the south-west coast of Ireland.

Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club is an Par 72 Championship Golf Course, boasting breathtaking views of Kenmare Bay, combined with the spectacular Kerry mountains as a backdrop. It has also been voted 2nd in, “Ten of the Best Views in British Isles Golf

The course boasts panoramic views across Kenmare Bay and combined with the spectacular Kerry mountains as a backdrop, the setting is unsurpassed anywhere in Europe. You will not be surprised to know that you will experience some of the most scenic holes in Ireland at the Ring of Kerry Golf Club.

The golf course blends into it’s exquisite scenery and a huge amount of imagination has gone onto the design of the golf course to create the challenging layout. The 5th Hole “Molls Gap” is a superb Par 5 that will reward the daring but punish the apprehensive, at 439 Yards, it can seem inviting but take it lightly at you your peril.

The 7th Hole “Dunkerron” is named after a famous caslte dating back to medieval times and the hole retains that Celtic, mystical feel of old Ireland.

The Par 3 13th (233 yards) “An Neidin” literally in Irish meaning “little nest” is far from a guarantee of a pleasant easy Par 3. From your elevated tee box, the green, if you can see it in the distance, tantalizingly dares you to do your best. I have heard it referred to as the “Shortest Par 4 in Ireland”!
