Killeen Castle hosts a magnificent Jack Nicklaus Signature Course designed and constructed by arguably the game's greatest golfer and the world's preeminent course designer. With a record 18 major championships and close to 300 golf courses designed around the world, Jack is a true legend of the game and at Killeen Castle he has created some legendary golf holes.

Host to the Dave Pelz scoring game school and will host the Solheim Cup 23rd - 25th September 2011.

Spaciously rambling over 350 acres among superb natural woodlands, Jack has created a course that can be set up to provide the sternest of championship challenges but which remains playable and enjoyable for the average golfer. It is a testament to the quality of Jack's creation that the course has been awarded the honour of host venue for The 2011 Solheim Cup.

Pure bent grasses have created putting surfaces that run true and fast year round, and our extensive 530km of drainage ensures that the course remains playable in any weather.
