Located only 14 miles west of Dublin city centre, Carton House is one of Ireland’s greatest stately homes and the one-time ancestral seat of the Dukes of Leinster.

Opened in 2002 the O’Meara explores the swooping pastures and tiptoes around ancient specimen trees on this magnificent estate. Feature holes include the 14th, 15th, & 16th- a pair of 3’s wrapped around a heroic par 5- crossing the lazy loops of the River Rye. This genteel but challenging journey complements the more vigorous test on its sister course, The Montgomerie. Together they are a potent force-very different in nature but both abounding with class which is the over-riding feel of the whole estate.
