In 1999, Mr. Jim Mansfield purchased the Palmerstown estate and transformed it into a magnificent parkland championship golf course that is set to take its place as one of Europes top golf courses.

Situated in the natural and beautiful surroundings of the 800 acre Palmerstown House and former Stud Farm, the course has the distinction of being the home of the PGA National golf course of Ireland and the organisation’s official Irish Head-quarters. This accolade means that Palmerstown House can be considered to be of equal stature to other world famous PGA golf courses such as Gleneagles and The Belfry.
