Rory's Coronoation...

Rory McIlroy US Open winner is viewed by many to become the world's number one. USA Today, described his win as The Coronoation of Rory. He left the field behind as he broke many records in his first Major win.

• Lowest US Open under par -16.
• Lowest overall total: 268
• Lowest 36 holes ever - 11.
• Fourth player to play all four rounds in the 60s.
• McIlroy hit 62 of 72 greens -- an astounding 86%, which is a record for as long as the USGA has been keeping them.
