Brora Golf Club lies on the remote Sutherland coast, where open linksland stretches between the North Sea and the hills of the Scottish Highlands. Sheep and cattle still graze across the course, with small electric fences protecting the greens and adding to its wonderfully traditional character.

Fast-running turf, natural burns and the ever-present breeze provide a far greater challenge than the course’s modest length might suggest. Low running approaches and imaginative recovery shots are often the best way to navigate the layout. Peaceful, unpretentious and rich in charm, Brora offers golf in one of Scotland’s most distinctive settings.
