Castlerock Golf Club’s Mussenden Course is one of the most rewarding links experiences on Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast. Set between the Atlantic, the River Bann, the railway, and the seaside village of Castlerock, the course offers firm turf, natural dunes, coastal winds, strategic bunkering, and a rhythm that feels wonderfully traditional.

Founded in 1901, Castlerock began as a nine-hole course before expanding into the 18-hole Mussenden links. Ben Sayers helped shape the early layout, Harry Colt later advised on the course, and more recent work by Dr. Martin Hawtree has refined the championship test while preserving its classic links character.
