The Golf House Club, Elie, lies on the coast of Fife’s East Neuk, where golf has been played for centuries. The course follows firm, fast-running ground beside the Firth of Forth, with compact greens, sandy hazards and natural slopes shaping its traditional character.
Although relatively short, Elie asks golfers to control distance and trajectory as the sea breeze changes direction across the layout. The famous periscope in the starter’s hut adds a wonderfully distinctive feature, while views across the water accompany much of the round. Historic, friendly and full of variety, Elie captures the enduring appeal of Scottish seaside golf.
