Old Petty at Cabot Highlands follows the edge of a tidal estuary before moving across open hillsides surrounding the 400-year-old Castle Stuart. The routing also passes Old Petty Church, bringing a strong sense of local history to this newly created Highland links.
Natural contours, broad playing lines and several holes beside the water allow golfers to choose different angles of attack. The unusual crossing of the 1st and 18th holes adds further intrigue to a course designed around freedom, strategy and the character of the land. Fresh yet deeply rooted in its surroundings, Old Petty provides an exciting companion to neighbouring Castle Stuart.
