Murcar Links Golf Club lies just north of Aberdeen, where the course is carved through a wild landscape of dunes, heather and gorse beside the North Sea. Its isolated setting and natural coastal terrain create a strong sense of traditional links golf from the opening hole.
Tight driving corridors, sharp run-offs and strategically placed bunkers leave little room for error, while the wind can quickly change the intended line of play. The course asks for patience, sound positioning and a willingness to keep the ball low. Rugged, challenging and largely untouched in appearance, Murcar offers a wonderfully authentic round on Scotland’s northeast coast.
