Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club is laid out across the slender Chanonry Peninsula on the Black Isle, with water visible on both sides of the course. The links curl around the distinctive Chanonry Point lighthouse, offering wide views across the Moray Firth, where dolphins can often be seen close to shore.
Although short by modern standards, the layout is shaped by narrow fairways, small greens and shifting crosswinds that make club selection difficult. The limited ground is used cleverly, producing a varied and engaging round within a wonderfully compact setting. Historic, welcoming and rich in coastal charm, Fortrose & Rosemarkie offers a rare blend of traditional golf, wildlife and Highland scenery.
