North Berwick’s West Links is a historic seaside course laid out beside the Firth of Forth, with magnificent views towards the Bass Rock and the islands beyond. The links begin and finish close to the town, while stone walls, sandy hollows and the shoreline lend the course a distinctive and unmistakably Scottish character.

Firm fairways and natural contours encourage imaginative shot-making, with many holes rewarding positioning and creativity over power. Celebrated features include the stone wall guarding the green at the 13th and the famous Redan 15th, whose design has been copied around the world. Rich in variety, history and coastal charm, the West Links provides one of East Lothian’s most memorable rounds.
