Prince’s Golf Club

Prince’s Golf Club lies immediately beside Royal St George’s on the Sandwich coast, occupying a mixture of dunes and open linksland overlooking the English Channel. Founded in 1906, the original course was designed by Charles Hutchings before the layout was substantially reconstructed after the Second World War by Guy Campbell and John Morrison.

Today the course comprises three nine-hole loops known as the Shore, Dunes and Himalayas, allowing different combinations to be played across the property. The routing combines generous fairways with natural dunes, carefully positioned bunkers and undulating greens, while the coastal wind continually alters the preferred lines of play. Prince’s retains strong championship connections, having hosted The Open in 1932 and the Amateur Championship on several occasions.
