Royal Dornoch’s Championship Course follows natural terraces above the Dornoch Firth, with golden beaches and distant Highland hills forming a magnificent backdrop. The routing moves between elevated ground and lower linksland near the sea, giving the course a graceful rhythm and constant variety.

Raised plateau greens are among its defining features, with surrounding slopes, bunkers and run-offs making the angle of approach especially important. Gorse frames many fairways, while the coastal wind continually changes how each hole should be played. Historic, subtle and beautifully integrated into the landscape, Royal Dornoch stands among Scotland’s most celebrated courses.
