St. George’s Hill Golf Club

St. George’s Hill is set among the rolling heathland of Weybridge, where pine trees, silver birch, heather and natural sandy ground frame one of Surrey’s most distinctive inland layouts. Founded in 1913, the original course was designed by Harry Colt, whose routing makes exceptional use of the natural contours of the site.

The main course combines the Red and Blue nines, with a third Green nine completing the club’s 27 holes. Elevation changes are more pronounced than on many Surrey heathland courses, with elevated tees, sloping fairways and valleys creating a varied sequence of holes. Heather and woodland frame many of the playing corridors, while strategically positioned bunkers and carefully shaped greens reward accurate positioning and controlled approach play.
