Tain Golf Club occupies a peaceful stretch of sandy ground overlooking the Dornoch Firth. Founded in 1890, the course blends open linksland with patches of heather and whin, while broad views across the water towards the northern Highlands accompany much of the round.

Springy turf encourages low running play, but well-positioned bunkers and the coastal breeze ensure that every hole requires careful thought. The routing follows the land with an easy, natural rhythm, creating a course that is enjoyable without lacking challenge. Unhurried and rich in traditional charm, Tain offers an authentic Highland golfing experience.
