The Emerald: All Ireland Journey

The Emerald Tour brings together some of Ireland’s most celebrated golf courses in one complete journey across the country. From the links of Dublin and Kerry to the great resort courses of Wicklow, Limerick and Kildare, the itinerary combines championship golf with some of Ireland’s finest hotels and a genuine sense of travelling through the country rather than staying within a single region.

The journey begins with Druids Glen and Brittas Bay before moving west to Adare Manor, one of the most impressive modern tournament venues in Europe. From there, Ballybunion and Tralee provide two very different expressions of classic Irish links golf along the Atlantic coast. Returning east, The K Club adds Ryder Cup pedigree before Portmarnock brings the trip to a fitting conclusion on one of Ireland’s most historic and highly regarded links.

The Emerald is designed for golfers who want to experience Ireland at its fullest. Seven standout courses, five-star accommodation and private transport are combined with changing landscapes, memorable towns and the contrast between rugged coastal links and immaculate championship parkland. It is a journey through the heart of Irish golf, bringing together many of the courses and destinations that have made Ireland one of the world’s great golfing countries.

Accommodation

Druids Glen Resort (3 Nights)

Set in the Wicklow countryside between the mountains and the Irish Sea, Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort is a five-star retreat and an ideal starting point for The Emerald Tour. The hotel combines spacious accommodation with excellent dining, a spa and health club, and the convenience of having two championship golf courses on the estate.

Adare Manor (3 Nights)

Adare Manor is one of Ireland’s most distinctive luxury hotels, set on an historic estate in the heart of County Limerick. The restored manor house combines grand surroundings with highly polished service, exceptional dining and the sense of occasion that comes with staying at one of the country’s most celebrated properties.

For golfers, its greatest advantage is having the championship course on the estate. Host venue for the 2027 Ryder Cup, Adare Manor provides a very different experience from Ireland’s traditional links, with immaculate conditioning, dramatic presentation and tournament pedigree. It makes for a memorable stop on The Emerald Tour before the journey continues towards the great links of the southwest.

The K Club (4 Nights)

Set on a 550-acre estate in County Kildare, The K Club is one of Ireland’s best-known five-star golf resorts. The hotel combines the character of a country estate with elegant accommodation, excellent dining, extensive leisure facilities and a peaceful setting along the River Liffey.

For golfers, the resort is synonymous with championship golf. Its Palmer North Course hosted the 2006 Ryder Cup and has also staged multiple Irish Opens, giving guests the opportunity to play a course with genuine tournament pedigree. As the Emerald Tour returns east towards Dublin, The K Club provides a relaxed final resort stay before the journey concludes on the capital’s great links.
